When you invite me to edit your novel, I begin with the goal of becoming an expert on your story. I create style sheets to keep track of characters, places, vehicles, weapons, mythical creatures, magical items, spelling and style preferences, and the passage of time. If a character loses her knife in Chapter 3, I’ll ask where that knife came from in Chapter 10. I’ll catch when you swap from “t-shirt” to “T-shirt.” I’ll keep track of the timeline, so your characters aren’t harvesting apples in May. I include my style sheets along with my edits when I complete your project.
I have edited fantasy, romance, erotica, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, science fiction, crime, and mystery novels. Though I have a soft spot for fantasy, I love anything with a good story!
